Course Description
This course is the third seminars in a succession serving to compliment the continuum between didactic and experiential courses to synthesize, integrate and apply the basic-science and pharmacotherapeutic principles prevalent in both acute and chronic disease-state settings. Principles of self-directed learning will be emphasized through student interactive learning scenarios stimulating real-world clinical experiences that allows students to practice and apply problem-solving skills, and accountability for assigned readings. These stimulations will promote self-directed lifelong learning, enhancement of verbal communication skills, and ultimately allow students to successfully practice as future pharmacists. This course continues self-study preparation for the North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination (NAPLEX) using the Pass NAPLEX Now course book online videos and quiz banks.
