Vision and Mission

Keeping with the core values of Touro University of intellectual inquiry, personal growth, and individual development, and with their contributions towards the greater good, the Touro College of Pharmacy:

  • Educates and inspires students to become compassionate patient- and caregiver-centered pharmacists prepared to serve as medication specialists in a broad range of pharmacy-related health careers.

  • Performs research and scholarship that open new opportunities for improving health outcomes through pharmaceutical interventions.

  • Provides pharmacist care services to the communities of Touro University, New York, and beyond.

Strategic Initiatives

The Touro College of Pharmacy is committed to achieving the following strategic initiatives:

  • Enhance the growth of enrollment and broaden the scope of the College’s educational endeavors.

  • Pursue heightened connectivity with our students, other units of Touro University, and the community both locally and globally.

  • Enhance the College’s role in expanding the scope of practice of the pharmacist, its engagement in scholarly activity and service to Touro University and the broader community, and subsequently, its positive impact on health outcomes.

  • Maintain the College’s commitment to our continuous quality improvement to the curriculum and co-curriculum.
