Course Description

In this advanced practice experience course, students learn the fundamentals of pharmaceutical marketing through the development of key pieces in the areas of product promotion and medical education. The student learns how to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, with scientists, pharmacists, doctors, artists, and other experts with over 20 years’ experience in the industry. Utilizing their knowledge of pharmaceutical science, medicine, disease, and patient care students will learn to improve their medical writing skills to produce high-standard scientific content aimed at various target audiences such as healthcare professionals, scientists, and patients. The student may collaborate on several different types of high-impact projects such as disease state backgrounders for product pitches, promotional video storyboards, branded and unbranded disease state presentation decks, and key opinion leader advisory board meeting materials. During this advanced practice experience course, the student has the opportunity to work in a wide array of disease states through the many pharmaceutical brands represented by RevHealth all while networking with over 25 experienced PharmDs.
